Baby, kiss me like it's the last time;Belle had woken up late in the morning, she was having the same dream over and over again. She just kept hearing her parents voices almost like the sounds of them were dancing around in her ears. 'You're a failure to us all' was all she heard them say and she stood there standing in the kitchen looking at her scabbed up knee from when she fell off her bike. What kind of eight year old couldn't ride their bike after all?
Hearing how disapointed they were with her her eyes had filled with tears, as her heart began to pump. She wasn't sure if it was because she was mad, or was she upset that they just couldn't give her time to do anything. Through the little girl's eyes that were her own she looked up towards her parents, tears running down her face. "I'm sorry"
Waking up, like the shot of a gun had gone off Belle looked around the room she had been in. Tiny balls of sweat covered her body. Her heart was racing like she had been running for miles and miles. Her mind couldn't focus, her eyes darted back and fourth from the room. Her breathing that was starting to become lighter helped the sweat stop pouring down her face. Pushing the hair out of her face, she took in a deep breathe, "It's alright" She reminded herself as she layed back on the bed.
Remebering she was at the school, with many other people like herself she felt safe and happy that she was among her own kind of people. People that would understand how tough families were once they found out that thier child was different. How threaten the families felt, how unhappy they were with her.. She couldn't handle all of it. Getting out of bed, she made her way into the bathroom and washed her face.
Seeing the same face as the day before, she felt okay. Drying her face she walked back into her bedroom and pulled out some plain jeans and a white tank top. Putting on her silver necklace with a heart on the end, she looked in the mirror, grabbing a black sweater she put on the hood and headed down stairs. She didn't really look at how was up and about, she didn't even know what time it was, she just headed straight outside.
Walking into the rose garden she just wanted to look around, to see more of the school and to just get used to the new enviroment she was into. Seeing the beauty of all the roses put a smile onto her face. She was glad she was at the school. Watching as some others walked by she smiled and waved, but no one really stopped to talk. Which she wasn't sure if it was a good or a bad thing. But either way, she was glad to be in the moment she was.
As she walked by, there was one rose that really caught Belle's eye. It was big and seemed to be the biggest rose there. Stopping to look at the one rose she bent down and began to smell the flowers. Closing her eyes for only a moment, but in that moment she seemed to lose herself.

Give me something I wanna be, retro glamour, Jac had barely slept last night, not that she slept that well any night. Night brought the demons out of people, and being an empathy meant dealing with the feeling of others as well as her own, and last night had been espically bad. She had been espically receptive to other emotions and could seem to block them out.
The teachers here kept telling that she would eventually get and handle on her powers and soon she would be able to feel only her emotions unless she tried to feel other, but she had been here for nearly eight months and she still hadn't seen any improvement, if she didn't see one soon she was going to do something rash.
As Jacqueline approach the rose graden she could feel another's prescene, and all she could feel was this overwhelming feeling of disappointment and self-guilt. She nearly bent over gasping for breath as the emotions began to hit her full force.
She continued to walk towards the garden as her body began to react to the emotions she was feeling, she could feel her heart speed up and her stomach churn. She couldn't help but wonder how it was that was feeling this, and how she could help them without using her ability on them.
She felt the self-guilt reside some as intrigue and calmness took over. Whatever the other person was doing seemd to have calmed them a small bit but, she knew it wouldn't last it never did, all she could hope for was that she maybe able to help this person. As she finally approached the garden she noticed how it was.
Belle Devior.
The usually happy go lucky girl was sitting there completely interested in a rose in which she held. 'I knew she had a bad childhood but this.'She thought to herself she knew a bit about Belle's parents but apparently she didn't know the full story if these emotions were anything to go by.
"Hey," She said as she sat down beside the other girl hoping that she wasn't intruding on anything personal, but she knew she was. Being able to feel others emotions meant she was always intruding on the personal thoughts of others.

Baby, kiss me like it's the last time;Holding the flower between her fingers she could feel every sweet small bump, every small imperfect but there part of the flower that she knew she shouldn't be looking for but of course she just needed to find it. For some really odd reason when she found that others weren't perfect it made her feel better. If only everyone could tell her parents that it was arlight not to be perfect. But then again being a mutant didn't help.
Not that she didn't like being a mutant or anything, because well she did. When she used her powers, it was almost like she was a totally different person and that she was in control and she enjoyed it. Not only that the things she could do with her powers the things she could create, she thought were just beautiful. And that feeling she was never goingt to let anyone ever take that away from her.
Hearing someone's voice go, her heart almost skipped a beat as her eyes shot open and she looked around. To her suprise it was Jac, they're were fairly close for Belle just getting here, and she was glad that if anyone had found her the way Jac just did, she was glad that it was Jac instead of someone else. Watching her as she sat down next to her, she moved her hands off the flower and ran them through her hair.
"Oh hey Jac" was all she could seem to say, she was still a little startelled and not sure what Jac was thinking about her at this moment. Running her fingers through her hair yet another time she looked back over towards Jac. "What brings you out here?" She knew that Jac might very well ask her the same question and really she wasn't sure what she was going to say. She thought about just lying to Jac, but she knew that Jac would crack her open like an old book. She figured if she was ever going to talk to anyone about that had happened, it would be her.
Looking up at the sky, she noticed that clouds were forming over head. Belle began to wonder if it was going to rain today. With a small smile starting to appear on her face, she wondered all the things that she could do if it did infact begin to rain. She glanced over at Jac and then back up to the sky, "It looks like it might rain" Belle kindof giggled.
Thinking about the rain made her happy, it wasn't like she had anything to worry about, she didn't really get ready for the day and she had no make up on what so ever. She thought that if it did infact rain she was going to dance in the rain. She knew she couldn't really dance but she knew everyone was going to be inside so she figured she might as well take the oppertunity while she had one.

Give me something I wanna be, retro glamour, Jac knew Belle was surprised even without feeling her emotions she felt her jump from beside her. "Sorry I scared you B."She said using a nickname she had given Belle. Although Belle was the name she prefered everyone called her that and Jac being unique wanted to give Belle a unique nickname so she came up with two of her own form Belle, B and Bellie. Well Jac only allowed Belle to call her Jackie, and J for everyone else it was Jac, and if anyone dared to call her Jacqueline then it was their funeral.
Jacqueline could feel the saddness which still had a hold of her B. She wanted to hug her but knew it was the time for it yet, hugging her meant explain that she was extremely aware of her friend's emotions and then that meant more explaining. She was not normally this receptive it just happened around this time of year. It was the anniversary of her grandmother's passing. Her grandmother was the only person in which accepted Jac for everything she was, how she acted, how she dressed and the fact that she was a mutant.
She thought about how to answer this without telling B about her grandmother. She wasn't trying to hide anything but she didn't want to add the the burden Belle was already carrying on her shoulders. Instead she decided to tell B the half truth, "I need some fresh air and I have always loved the smell of roses."It wasn't a lie, she did need fresh air, and she had loved the smell of roses ever since she was a small child. Her grandmother had had the best rose graden in the state, which wasn't hard in New York city, but her grandmother lived in the country and her house had always smelled of roses and cookies. She loved it, she would remember visiting and always the smell of roses and cookies stayed with her for weeks afterwards.
"What about you?"Jac asked not wanting to intrude anymore than she already had but she figured it was polite to ask, besides it B wanted to talk she might as well talk to someone she knew, and Jac would feeling horrible if she found out Belle wanted to open up, but she hadn't ask her.
"Ya I hope it rains."She told her with a small giggle herself. She really wanted to play in the rain, and act like a child once again she yearned for her childhood, she missed the innocent that was so far out of her reach now, after all she had been through with her parents all she wanted was the same security she had as a child.

Baby, kiss me like it's the last time;Having Jac apologize for scaring her and then calling her B, just made Belle giggle. She didn't know why but she was sure glad that Jac had called her B, it made her feel like a little kid again, when nicknames were cool and only certain people could call you by those names. She never once had a problem with Jac calling her B, it just showed her that Jac wanted to be really good friends, and Belle was thankful for that.
Looking over at Jac, "Oh, it's quite alright Jackie" Belle sometimes called Jac that when she wanted to be a brat. She knew she didn't really enjoy it, but she didn't completely hate it when Belle called her Jackie. It was the whole close friends thing, and she loved that they had it.
Hearing that she just wanted to get some fresh air, she looked over at Jac. She saw there was a bit of a sad face on her, but she didn't want to ask and have Jac freaked out. Then she remembered that Jac's power was to feel over people's emotions and Belle began to wonder if she had been catch Belle's upsetting vibe throughout the night. Unsure if she should say anything, she knew they were close enough to talk about just about anything now.
"Did you not sleep very well last night either?" Belle asked, kindof giving her the hint that she was out here because her bedroom, the place where all her bad dreams and memories filled her head, was the place she just needed to get away from it. "I'm out here because I couldn't sleep and I just wanted to go for a walk Belle told her, not that it was a lie because it wasn't a lie, not at all. She did want to go for a walk, but the flower caught her eye.
She wasn't sure if she was going to make the conversation better or worse and she started feeling a little akward. She began to think to herself. 'The more you do this, the more she is going to think you're a freak !' Trying to get her mind back out of this slump she looked over at Jac with a smile. Hoping she fooled her, when really she knew she wasn't going to.
"I think it really should rain, like it should just pour" Belle told her with a smile, as she put up her hood for a moment, like she was getting ready for the rain. But then she put it back down and stuck out her tounge a little bit. She was a brat and a little kid inside but she knew she was aloud to be herself around Jac because Jac wouldn't judge her no matter how she acted.
"So, I think if it does rain" Belle paused for a moment, giggling to herself about this "brillant" idea she was having. But she knew others would look at her and go, what are you doing. " I think if it rain's, we should get our rain boots and go play in the puddles !" Belle said as she lifted her hands in a tumbs up and opened her mouth almost like she was going to let out a cheesy scream.
