DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER
Anna Williams is considered to be one of the brightest girls of her age. She is extremely intelligent and during her first year of high school her main focus was her studies and she did not sway from that focus. The downside to her desire to learn is that at first, people saw her as an outsider and someone that wanted attention. In reality, she was just eager to learn about the world around her in which she had been fortunate enough to become introduced to. But, she eventually lost sight of why she wanted to succeed in school anyway and her grades started dwindling.
IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED
Anna is a very loyal person and will stick to your side once you have befriended her and once you have gained her trust. She sticks up for the underdog and will work tirelessly to help him/her. She was not very successful in her efforts but each time she had the determination to continue to support the things she believed in, even when others were to criticize her or tease her because of it.
I CROSS MY HEART, AND PROMISE TO
As far as any romances went for Anna, she hasn't dated anyone, ever. There are times where she questions why she likes some people, but that's how love goes, isn't it?

FULL HISTORY// It was a beautiful summer day. Anna was playing happily in the backyard. She was a mere three years old. Her older sister, the age of six, was in the kitchen with her mother, baking cookies. Whilst her father was trying to fix the backed up sink. They were all happy and content with what they were doing. When, the oven suddenly caught on fire. April and Selena Williams had their backs turned to it, and when they realized their house was being caught on fire, it was too late. Anna lost her whole family in that one moment. The flames of the burning house licked at her skin, so naturally she ran away from them.
While she was running into the forest behind her house, she tripped over a tree root. She had always been a complete klutz. And she had fallen right into a rock. And the rock had scraped her up from her shoulder and around to her elbow with a deep cut that later turned into a scar.
Her parents had both worked, and she had a lot of money left to her by them. She was put in an orphanage, though. It was an overpopulated place. Every kid or teen was for him or her self there. It was like some twisted and warped game of Survival of the Fittest. It wasn't the best place to live at, but it was the only place she could stay.
But, on Anna's sixteenth birthday, something happened. It was the early vacation. And since they were in Georgia and it was the day before Christmas, they’d gone to the beach. All the little kids were playing in muddy, sandy wet spots. She’d always loved swimming and gone out a fair few feet. That’s when it happened. She’d nearly drowned, but she remembered every bit of it very distinctly.
Suddenly, Anna couldn’t move. It was as though she was rooted into place. Her whole body seemed like it had been shut down. A strange tingling starts in her fingers, travels up her arm, and finally imbeds itself in her chest. A terrible pressure squeezes the breath from her. It weighs her down to her knees and she goes under the water. Panic blooms in her mouth like weeds. She wants to scream. But, no words came out. No sound. She wanted to tell someone she needed help. She needed them to know something is happening to her. She comes back up, sputtering out water. All she can see is the alarmed look in her best friend’s eyes, the ones looking down on her. Help me. Was the wordless cry of her soul. Then, she went down again.
Anna thought she must’ve been dying, right then and there, ironically enough. She tried to tell Fayola this, once more, but there is nothing but a choking sound in her throat. A strong smell of roses and spice overpowers her as the image of the her only friend and the ocean surrounding her. Her eyelids flutter, as if she were having trouble staying awake.
The pressure increased until she felt like she would burst. Then, she is under, a swirling tunnel of blinding color and light was pulling her down like and undertow. A strong tide begins pulling her through a veil of blackness until she sees Fayola’s worried face again. And then it falls apart. All of it disappears. The ocean, Fayola, everything. She is a visitor, walking in a living dream, no sound except for the thumping of her own heart, her breath going in and out, and the odd swishing sound of her blood coursing through her veins.
She stood in the middle of a dimly lit room. Two hooded figures stood there as well, bickering.
“We must act now!” The first figure shouted.
“We can’t. You must be patient. The time isn’t right.” A familiar voice replied.
“The time is perfect! We can’t wait any longer, we need the girl! She’ll never see us coming. She hasn’t had a single vision yet.”
“You will do as I say! And you will not disobey me!” The second one ordered.
“But-”
“Or, you can face the consequences.”
The first one’s shoulders slumped in a sign of defeat. “Yes, my Lord.” He murmured.
And the image blew away as if on wind. Anna was back to nearly drowning. She was gasping for breath, as if she’d run a mile whilst someone was choking her. But, now, Fayola was dragging her to shore.
And that was how she had her first vision. She must’ve been born with the powers, and they’d only just kicked in. Either way, she’d never seen Fayola again. Fayola was adopted and Anna sent herself of to the Talons Academy for the Gifted. Which is where she is now.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE//
Anna walked through the halls of the Quileute Tribal High School. A few days ago, she’d moved to La Push, Washington and as far away from her hometown of Georgia as possible. She’d only just enrolled in the school that morning. She had a class schedule in one hand and a map of the school in the other. She also had a black leather bag slung over her shoulder, full of new books. She was clutching the map as if her life depended on it. She had always been accident prone and didn’t have a very good sense of direction. But, that was just the way she was.
Anna turned a corner. If only there was a map for life. It sure would make losing your entire family and your best friend a whole heck of a lot easier. She thought of her parents and sister. Her erratic and loving mother. Her father, the caring mellow-guy. Selena, he irritating, but trustworthy sister. Anna could feel the tears, warm and salty as they rolled down her cheeks. She had a dry lump in her throat. Of course, she would start bawling on her first day. She didn’t know whether or not it was the tears blurring her vision or the fact that she almost never paid attention to where she was going. But, either way, she ran right into someone’s broad chest and toppled backwards.
Anna looked up at the person she’d run into. Damn klutziness. Was her only thought, as she stared up at him from where she was sprawled on the floor. “God, I’m so sorry! I wasn’t paying any attention to where I was going and…” She said in a rush. She tended to babble when she was nervous or excited. But hell would freeze over before she became one of those overly perky, rich, blonde, head cheerleader, daddy’s girls. For one thing, she didn’t have a “daddy”. But the other thing was the fact that, not only was her hair raven-colored, she sort of ruled out that overly perky crap with all the black she wears.
One could easily mistake Anna for being Goth at a first glance. At that particular moment, she was wearing an ensemble that consisted of black and white checkered sneakers with duck tape over the hole on her right shoe, dark blue denim jeans, and a black long-sleeved shirt with a plain white T-Shirt over it. But she wasn’t all “impending doom and depression” like most Goth people. That just wasn’t her way of thinking.
